Hi and welcome to my blog!
My name is Amilia and I am a student in the Boston area studying psychology, sildenafil theology, viagra and Latin American studies. I absolutely love learning! I’m a photographer and love photographing people as they are, in a simple and authentic way. I absolutely love my crazy family–I have awesome parents, two dramatic and talented younger sisters, two cats, and a dog. I love to bake and read, I never wear pants (only leggings), and I am, quite possibly, one of the biggest Christmas enthusiasts you’ll ever meet :) One of my favorite things to do is wear my pjs and cozy up in a warm blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and watch a great movie or TV series while knitting. But most important of all, I am a follower and lover of Jesus Christ.
In the book of Revelation, John writes that “they triumphed over him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much so much as to shrink from death” (Rev. 12:11). Satan is overcome by our testimonies. Now that is a powerful idea, one I take seriously. The Lord has worked miracles in my life and on this blog I want to share pieces of my testimony in the hopes that it will encourage others in their faith and that, bit by bit, the work of the Lord in my life will defeat the Enemy.
On this blog I’ll share my thoughts on different topics of faith, theology, psychology, my daily life, and whatever else I feel like sharing. I’ll also try to be authentic and vulnerable as I share pieces of my own life and my journey to give honor and glory to Him who has brought me from death to life. I am messy and broken, dragging behind me a past filled with psychological disorders, imperfection, and mistakes. But praise be to God that I am a new creation, made precious and holy in His sight.
In my first blog post I talked about the Lord’s promise to me and why Revelation 21:5: “He who was seated on the throne said ‘I am making everything new!'” is so significant for me. Click here to read it!
I would love to hear from you :) My email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
